Eleventh and Twelfth Grade Class Project
L28 Antique Trunk and Vanity. Eleventh and Twelfth Grade Class Project. his World War I era steamer trunk, built to withstand the ordeal of travel, has been meticulously restored by our high schoolers for another hundred years of use. The cedar-lined interior includes a sliding shelf/removable tray retro-fitted with treasure (variety of “golden” liquor included!). This trunk has its original exterior leather and lock, sits on a steel base with wheels, and is re-embossed with authentic stenciling of early Montana railway and steamboat lines. This project also includes a vintage, late 1800s, vanity with an elaborate antique mirror and dove-tail drawers, all sanded and polished to bring back its original charm!
